University of Łódź

 

Founded just after the end of the World War II (24 May 1945), the University of Łódź is one of the top ten most popular Polish universities. This is a true school of the XXI century: open to the world, young and dynamic that develops an intense international cooperation. Among his former students and teachers there are personalities as remarkable as T. Kotarbiński (philosopher), L. Kolakowski (philosopher), J. Chalasiński (sociologist), J. Kosiński (Polish-born American writer, author of the famous novel "The Painted Bird"), M. Belka (Polish Prime Minister from 2004 to 2005 and currently the President of the National Bank of Poland - NBP). Łódź is a great student city. More than 120 000 people are currently studying in 6 public and 22 non-public higher education institutions. University of Łódź is the biggest higher education institution both in the city and the region.

Studies in foreign languages

The candidate to the studies in foreign languages must complete the "Application Form" available on the website of the University of Łódź: www.iso.uni.lodz.pl  The International Relations Office  provides all information and assistance with administrative procédures.

1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and Econometrics: Faculty of Economics and Sociology. Tuition: 3,000 PLN/year (about 714€) for Polish and European citizens and 2,500€/year + 200€ registration fee for citizens of other countries. ECTS: 60 points/year.

2. Bachelor's Degree in Economics: Faculty of Economics and Sociology. Tuition: 3,000 PLN/year (about 714€) for Polish and European citizens and 2,500€/year + 200€ registration fee for citizens of other countries. ECTS: 60 points/year.

3. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science: Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science. Tuition: 3,000 PLN/year (about 714€) for Polish and European citizens and 2,500€/ year + 200€ registration fee for citizens of other countries. ECTS: 60 points/year.

4. Bachelor's Degree in Business Management: Faculty of Management. Tuition: 3,000 PLN/year (about 714€) for Polish and European citizens and 2,500 €/year + 200€ registration fee for citizens of other countries. ECTS: 60 points/year.

5. Bachelor's Degree in International Marketing: Faculty of International and Political Studies. Tuition: 2,000 PLN/year (about 476€) for the Polish and European citizens and 2,500€ + 200€ registration fee for citizens of other countries. ECTS: 60 points/year.
